Peripatetic Service
The peripatetic service exists to provide advice and, where appropriate, practical help in schools on all aspects of school library planning, management and use.

Our Schools' Library Liason Officers provide advice and practical support to all the Island schools.

The Schools' Library Liason Officers and staff within the Schools' Library Service are qualified to offer you advice on:

• Planning your library / resource centre
• Library automation
• creating / developing a Book Policy
• selecting and purchasing library materials
• promotion and display
• evaluating and monitoring library use
• Library and Information Literacy Skills
• In service training for teachers
• Training for library volunteers
